Married by Megan, South Island Wedding Celebrant

Ceremonies for wildly in love couples — making the “I do” part the best part.

I’m Megan, a South Island wedding celebrant bringing calm, confidence and a very good sense of timing to ceremonies across Invercargill, Wanaka, Queenstown and wherever the party is heading next.

Relaxed ceremonies with sharp instincts

By the time you reach the aisle, you’ve already made a thousand decisions — from the flowers and outfits to the seating plan that nearly required its own crisis management team. The last thing you want is a ceremony that feels stiff, awkward or like a copy-and-paste version of someone else’s wedding.

I create ceremonies that feel relaxed, personal and entertaining. The kind that keep guests engaged, make the laughs feel natural and still land the emotional moments without becoming overly formal or uncomfortable.

More than anything, I know how to read the room. I’ll guide the flow, calm the nerves, keep things moving naturally and make sure the ceremony feels effortless from start to finish.

The result? A ceremony that feels completely like you — and ends up being one of the most memorable parts of the day for all the right reasons.

South Island weddings, let’s keep this relaxed.

Based in the south and travelling across Invercargill, Wanaka, Queenstown and everywhere in between.

Big venue, mountain backdrop, family property, lakeside moment, stylish little elopement with excellent shoes. Tell me where we’re going and what you’re dreaming up.

All the juicy questions.
